Griha

Griha, a type of female singing that is becoming increasingly rare and is on the verge of disappearing. As part of its mission to revive and preserve Moroccan cultural heritage, tigMAÏA organized a Griha show on March 31, 2023, with the Bhayer Dalia group from Taroudant.

After the ftour, around forty guests showed up to attend the concert and appreciate the singing of this group composed of six talented women. Moroccans and foreigners alike were transported into a fascinating musical universe. The young participants of the Connect program also had the opportunity to attend the show and discover a new musical style they were unaware of. They were pleasantly surprised and captivated by the beauty and performance of these exceptional women.

The atmosphere was festive and warm, as both the young and the old vibrated together to the enchanting rhythms of this unique performance. The melodic voices of the singers filled the air, creating an enchanting ambiance that resonated with the audience. It was an immersive experience that allowed everyone to appreciate the rich Moroccan culture.
